While the European logo “bio” has just been adopted, augmented reality also is endowing itself with a new distinguishing mark. The creation of a logo will formalize the standardization of this technology, which is becoming more and more common thanks to the exponentially growing use of Smartphones in particular. Total Immersion, one of the leading companies of the sector, suggested the idea of an AR+ logo during the ARE (Augmented Reality Event), the event dedicated to this technology in Santa Clara in California, at the beginning of June. Total Immersion, named by the newspaper Innovation, which has developed more than 270 projects in relation to Augmented Reality last year, aims, with this logo, at educating consumers, making application development easier for Augmented Reality providers, guaranteeing a homogeneous integration and promoting industrial growth.
