An apartment overlooking a busy street can quickly become a living hell in big cities, especially since the ban on smoking in bars and restaurants. In Geneva, the nightclub Petit Palace decided to take the lead in initiating a whisperer. From 0:00 to 5:00 am every night they’re open, the whisperer, a designated employee of the club, passes between the ranks of smokers to ask them to lower the noise level of their conversations. Although, this innovative resolution would probably not have occurred without the petition from residents who reside above the club, angered by the noise.
