A fixed post helps take group photos at tourist sites

Excuse me, “could you take a picture of us?” Who has never been approached in his or her city by a tourist wishing to be photographed in front of a famous monument or vista, unable to photograph him or herself except at arm’s length? Fotopol has developed a novel tool, more a gadget than an essential item, which would be placed before the most frequented tourist sites. The fixed pole made of aluminum and steel can accommodate cameras and video cameras during the photo shoot. Users can secure their device (better than an unstable rock) and set the self-timer. Priced at $ 2,350 by the Australian company, the costs could be recouped by transforming the post into an advertising space.
