After BuitenBeter in The Netherlands, Fix my Street in England and Léon in France, the firm Pixel Iris is now providing “Le problème de ma rue” (The problem in my street) web platform and iPhone application, which enable citizens concerned about their environment to note down the problems that have occurred on public highways and inform the appropriate local service. What makes it different is that the protest zone stretches over the whole country, making information reporting almost impossible. For this web development firm founded in 1987, the platform is actually a way to show their know-how to public decision-makers so that “local authorities may promote it in turn and include the white label platform on the city website’s portal,” Emmanuel Ruiz, Executive Officer of Pixel Iris, explains. Eventually, the firm could deal with them a monthly subscription “of 25 to 200 Euros, depending on the size of the city.”

In the same vein, let us note the existence of the “J’aime ma rue” (I love my street) service, which describes itself as “a platform to share neighbourhood problems.
