A tool to calculate the economic benefits of telecommuting

You remain to be convinced of the financial benefits of telecommuting. The LBMG Worklabs firm has just launched a tool that can calculate employers’ telecommuting costs and profits. Available for free, it gives the possibility to assess the telecommuting costs in terms of information technology and human resources, the commercial real estate profits made through shared office sapces and the resulting benefits, thanks to the time saved through the reduction of travel time in particular. LBMG takes the case of a company employing 3,000 people, which could save 2.5 million Euros each year by allowing 50% of its employees to telecommute.
