The Strasbourg association Creative Democracy (Démocratie Créative) was created in 2008 to promote in the streets artists that did not have the opportunity to exhibit in galleries. Today, the project is re-imagining the city and designing participatory and experimental ways that allow people to reconnect with their environment.

In the manner of Space Invaders or the Man in white by Jérôme Mesnager, which are hidden in the most unusual places of the capital, this street art project, based on QR code technology, aims at drawing passers-by’s attention on certain events that disturbed the peace in France, from the Commune to May 68. To do so, 20 ceramics with QR codes have been scattered by the group throughout Paris.
